LEARN MORE

  • One of our core values is ‘Be generous with all God gives’. Our God defines and demonstrates generosity in how he entrusts us with his grace. What we choose to do with his generosity is shaped by the following beliefs:

All Things Come From You, O Lord - 1 Chron. 29
Giving helps us gain perspective over our lives, belongings and relationships. Practising generosity reminds us how generous God is to us.

    God Loves A Cheerful Giver - 2 Cor. 9
Check our attitudes! Reluctant giving is not asked for, but a cheerful heart that loves generosity results in an abundance of blessings. Therefore it is up to each person to decide what to give, and then to give it.

Giving Beyond Your Means - 2 Cor. 8
Paul shares an example of churches who gave despite their poverty. First, they gave themselves to God and then they gave financially to the church, with confidence that God would provide for all their needs.t goes here

  • Truth
The Holy Spirit has planted the word of God within the people of God. To be generous with the truth means to speak and to demonstrate his truth within a broken world.

    Time
We live as eternal citizens of heaven here on earth. The time we have is a precious commodity which is easily wasted. In our generation, how will you invest your time for God's kingdom purposes?

    Talents
Each of has been resourced by God to serve him and one another. Our talents are remarkable and our opportunities are before our eyes. How will you use your gifts and abilities to give glory to God?

    Treasure
Our financial generosity is the first call on our income. Our giving is a reflection of our faith in the one who provides for all our needs. We choose to give cheerfully because we trust in a generous God.

  • Say Why He Sent You
Ultimately, generosity is found in verbaising the gospel of Jesus with those whom God has put around us.

    Join In
Prioritise and commit to spending time together as church family as a key form of your giving.

    Serving
Serving on a team is a great way to be generous with you God given talents. Contact the church office to find out how you can get involved.

    Financially
Our giving should be a priority, planned and proportionate. A tithe is 10 per cent of our income and might form a helpful starting point when deciding how much to give. We encourage members of Central to set up a regular standing order and Gift Aid if you are an eligible UK tax payer.

“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.”
