Salary: £26,000-£29,000 (dependent on experience)
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours (Sunday-Thursday)

Closing Date: Friday 2nd May 5pmAre you passionate about children’s ministry and eager to make a lasting impact in the heart of Bristol? Central Church, a vibrant and growing church in the city centre, is seeking a Kids and Families Pastor to help us build on our strong foundation and see God’s kingdom grow through our children and families.
The Role
As Kids and Families Pastor, you will:
Lead and grow our ministry to children (ages 0-11), both on Sundays and midweek.
Oversee and develop our Sunday Club and Tower Tots toddler group, working alongside volunteers.
Equip parents and carers to disciple their children at home.
Identify new mission opportunities, building relationships with schools and the local community.
Lead volunteers and interns, ensuring they are recruited safely and well-supported.
We believe children are an integral part of the church today, not just the future, and we are seeking someone who shares this vision. You’ll need to be a self-starter with a heart for children’s ministry and a passion for seeing families grow in faith.
What We’re Looking For
A mature Christian faith and commitment to the vision of Central Church.
Experience in leading children’s ministry and working with families.
A strong team player with leadership skills, able to inspire and equip volunteers.
Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a heart for outreach.
Ability to create dynamic, engaging environments for children’s spiritual and emotional growth.
Special Conditions:
There is a genuine occupational requirement for the post-holder to be a Christian. You’ll need to either be a member of Central Church or willing to join us, actively participating in our community life.

Central Church, a growing city-centre church in Bristol, is looking for an Operations Manager to oversee the practical and administrative aspects of church life, ensuring everything runs smoothly so that ministry can flourish.
The Role
As Operations Manager, you will:
Implement and execute strategic goals and decisions made by the leadership team and PCC.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the church, including administration, facilities, compliance, and HR processes.
Manage health and safety, safeguarding policies, and risk assessments.
Support ministry activities by ensuring resources, logistics, and buildings are effectively managed.
Supervise and support operational staff and volunteers.
Develop and maintain systems to improve church efficiency and communication.
This role requires a balance of strategic oversight and hands-on involvement, ensuring that the church is well-equipped to carry out its mission.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience in operations, administration, or facilities management.
Is a proactive problem-solver with excellent organisational skills.
Has strong communication and leadership abilities.
Is comfortable managing budgets, policies, and compliance requirements.
Is a committed Christian who will be an active part of Central Church, attending services and church activities.
Desirable Qualifications
Degree-level qualification (desirable but not essential).
Health and Safety Management certification.
Experience in charity governance or church operations.

The Role
As Operations Assistant, you will:
Provide administrative and operational support across church ministries and events.
Assist in managing church communications, including emails, newsletters, and social media.
Support the smooth running of Sunday services, discipleship courses, and church activities.
Oversee key administrative tasks such as room bookings, volunteer rotas, and financial processing.
Help ensure our church site is well-maintained and welcoming.
This is a key role for someone with strong organisational skills and a passion for supporting the mission of the church behind the scenes.
What We’re Looking For
A committed Christian with an active and growing faith.
Strong administrative and organisational skills with great attention to detail.
A team player with excellent communication skills.
Confidence in IT systems, including spreadsheets, emails, and databases (experience with ChurchSuite is a bonus).
Experience in operational or administrative roles (church or charity experience desirable).
