PLAY YOUR PART

Joining a team is one of the best ways to settle into the church family, make friends, have fun, and be a blessing. We'd love everyone to play a part!

SUNDAYS

  • Sunday Club is our kids group that meets during our Sunday service. We get up to all sorts of fun with sensory activities, as well as opening up the Bible with the children in an accessible way. Get in touch if you have a heart for seeing our children grow in their understanding and love for God.

  • This team is made up of musicians, singers, sound engineers and production team who facilitate and fuel the worship life of our church. If you are passionate about worship, we'd love to help you explore serving in this team.

  • A smiley face on the front door might be a newcomer’s first impression of church. Our welcome team are an invaluable group of warm, friendly people that want everyone to feel at home at Central. If that sounds like you we’d love you to get involved!

  • Every Sunday we hear from God’s word, the Bible, and love having members of our church bring it to us. We’d love for you to join in with this important ministry!

  • Whether it’s leading the whole church in prayers during the Sunday service, or praying 1-to-1 with people as part of our prayer ministry team - if you have a passion for intercession then get in touch.

  • Become part of our amazing team that prepare and serve the teas and coffees after our Sunday services.

OUTREACH

  • Alpha is a multi-week week course that runs on a Tuesday evening aimed at those exploring life, faith and meaning. We’d love help welcoming those on the course, serving food, and facilitating discussions around the topic of the week.

  • On certain Fridays a team of volunteers from Central meet to prepare soup and sandwiches that we then distribute to those in need of a hot meal. Do get in contact if you have a heart for serving the most vulnerable in our city.

  • Tower Tots is a baby and toddler group that meets on Wednesday mornings in term time. Our aim to create a safe space for children to play, explore and grow, as well as to create an environment which provides a level of support and community for parents/carers. Join the team if you’d like to get alongside the kids and their carers, as well as help set up/pack down.

  • The Feast is a space to welcome everyone in for a warm meal, conversation, and the opportunity to hear about Jesus. We particularly want to create space for those who are vulnerable, experiencing homelessness, or struggling with addiction. We’d love help serving meals and welcoming people in, as well as hosting. If you love sitting around tables chatting to new people and making them feel welcome, meeting people at the door or going with them to collect food and take a seat, we would love to hear from you.

  • We partner with local and international people, charities and causes to see the extension of God’s Kingdom. Have a heart for relating to those we support or are doing missional work? Please be in touch!

  • We love Jesus and we want to respond to His call and command to be His witnesses here in Bristol and beyond. Our prayer is for people to truly meet Jesus and know the love He has for them.

OTHER

  • We love capturing the moments that make our church the place it is. If you have a passion for photography or film and would like to use those skills at church we’d love to have you onboard.

  • There’s always a poster, social post or web page that needs creating, and we love it when their designs reflect the life and vibrancy of our church. If you an eye for design and the software skills to make ideas a reality then get in touch!

  • Are you an administrative ninja with a flare for sorting and organisation? Taking calls, receiving deliveries and supporting those using the building? You're just what we need!

  • Love a bit of teamwork and hands-on fun? We need occasional practical help around the church building and grounds. From tidying up the grounds to tackling small projects, there’s something for everyone—no special skills required, just a can-do attitude!
