God Over Politics
Launching our new 'God Over...' series, James unpacks Daniel 2 to demonstrate how the temporary structures of human politics ultimately pale in comparison to the eternal kingdom of God. Reflecting on Daniel’s faithful service in a pagan empire, we are challenged to allow our faith to inform our political engagement rather than allowing party politics to become an idol. Ultimately, this passage reminds us that our true hope is not found in earthly institutions or leaders, but in the sovereign rule of Christ, whose kingdom will endure forever.
